Hi there. Professor  treated me successfully at his clinic at the LUTS clinic in London. My life with my bladder was a few years ago was horrendous, and I'd actually bought a wheelchair because I couldn't live a normal life with this infection. I'd been back and forwards to my own GP where they prescribed me short courses of antibiotics that did absolutely nothing to help my infection. I eventually was referred to the Professor 2014 and I was on long term antibiotics, that were very closely monitored, and Professor was utterly brilliant with me. It was my husband who originally found this infection down his microscope, as he's a Microbiologist. I eventually saw the Professor, and started my journey to recovery. It took nearly 17 months, and I was convinced that I would never be rid of this, but I am. I have started up a new business, socialise and live a completely normal life nowadays. He was an absolutely lovely person to be treated by. He never dismissed by infection like my GPs did, and treated me with the upmost respect. I am utterly grateful to this man.

Are you experiencing symptoms of UTI yourself?

Thank you mazzy star

So pleased you are feeling so well and it is really appreciated, that, you have taken time to reply to this post.

I am sorry I needed to edit out Profs full name, as we do not allow Consultants Doctors Nurses names etc, on the Forum,

Kind Regards

I totally understand. I've gone from being completely bedridden, peeing up to 80 times a day + to a normal life again. I had this infection as a child and it was neglected so badly I was taken seriously ill with sepsis and went into a coma. This could have easily of happened again to me if it wasn't for the Professor

Hi - glad you've made a full recovery Mazzy.

I'm not sure what I'm asking here, but I've been with the Prof since 2011/12 and still on the antibiotics. They make things much, much more bearable, but not 100% and I'm not able to stop them yet. When I try to stop them symptoms come back. I hope I'll be able to stop them one day. I know the Prof's theory on why it takes time which is why I'm not sure what I'm asking, but interested in any thoughts or advice. Thanks

Hi again - thinking about it what I'd like to hear about is whether anyone is having a similar experience, i.e. the prof's antibiotic regime has helped a lot, but they haven't been able to stop either or both anti-biotics for a few years. Anyone out there? Thanks
