Hello all.. Just realized this morning that even my Ester C, is irritating my bladder,
I didn't take any supplements yesterday and was calm and pain free

Then this morning had an H&B Esther C 500mg with my breakfast (it was gluten free buckwheat and gluten free oats, the same as yesterday) and had symptoms just an hour or two later..

can anyone recommend a vit C they've had success with,
as I'm currently battling a cold!

cheers, Karen x

(noticed there's also citrus bioflavanoids, bulking agent microcrystalline cellulose, calcium silicate, stearic acid, magnesium stearate,  maltodextrin, calcium ascorbate, acerola extract, hesperdine complex, rutin powder and sulphites in these)

Hi Karen,

I've just seen your post, and wondering how you're getting on now.  I take a buffered vitamin C by Bio-Health, which doesn't seem to have any of the additives you list.

Have you tried the vit C again since?  You might have been particularly sensitive because of your cold; I tend to find that my bladder flares up if I have a cold or flu.

Anyway, hope you're feeling better at the moment.

Hi Sandra- thanks!

At the moment having luck with Naked Smoothies bluemachine, which is fortified with vitamins, and doesn't seem to be causing any problems..

bladder seems to have calmed down, and am on an allergy elimination diet..

I might try the C you mentioned, thanks..

also juicing a lot (fruit and vegetables) to replace supplements..!

cheers- K
