Good news on the appointment. Are you aware that there is also a female urogynaecologist treating in a similar manner to the professor who is able to be seen on the NHS if you wish to pursue that route? If nothing else she is also very experienced in seeing patients with chronic pelvic pain including that of the vulva and vagina.

Her details should have been provided to you on the same sheet as those of the Professor, Perhaps your GP could write an NHS referral. I believe wait times are around 11 weeks for an appointment. Again I’m afraid she is London based.

Oh thank you susan, guess the lady you mention is miss S E at UCLH How would i make an appointment to see her or is it up to my Doctor to make the appointment through referal. Condsidering the symptons i am suffering she sounds a better bet for me.There are no contact details on the sheet for this lady, only for the professor.Heather.

If you call the BHUK office on Monday they should be able to give you full details plus the NHS clinic code specifically for her clinic. Your GP should make the referral by letter using this code.

Call her with anything you need to know.  You should not have to revert to a forum to ask if you are due an email confo.  They would or should only be too happy to help.

btw, a simple google search for the female consultant SE, brings up her contact details at her private and nhs base.  of course, the nhs referral would have to come from your GP.  if anyone has the funds, i always think one private visit first is good.

Could you give me the details of Miss SE at UCLH, as I would like to contact her?
Thank you

If you call the BHUK office early in the new year they will be able to give you full details.
