There is a review of the criteria regarding eligibility of the blue badge scheme .At the moment the rules only allow people with walking difficulties to have the blue badge . The terms of reference seem to vary across the country.
The consultation is to see if people with hidden illnesses should have the badge.
When I had my Blue Badge it made life a lot easier, I could park close to Town Center toilets and store entrances. When you need the loo every 10 minuets or so it is difficult to walk any distance.

Please read the Consultation document and send in the response form. It will help also to lobby our local MPs to support us

This is the link to the review
