Hi there

I had my flexible cystoscopy today and although I was told there was nothing much in particular (and definitely nothing worrying!) he mentioned a white patch or something at the top of my bladder which apparently is quite common with recurring UTIs? Has anyone else had this same result before?

He wants me to start taking a 3 month course of antibiotics for prevention of further UTI. He's a decent urologist so of course I trust in his decision and his findings but I've also had symptoms way before I would get these infections and am wondering whether it's simply always been a chronic UTI (for years?!?!) or if there may also be a possibility for IC or OAB still? I haven't got a followup booked in yet, as he wanted to see how I go on the antibiotics first but I guess I just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar white patch or coating on inspection and also if anyone has felt that antibiotic therapy helped them?
