Hello Heather

I am no expert, but if you have not been treated for the infection that I recall your own research diagnosed, then it maybe wise to get that sorted .

Have you been back to your Doc, with those findings?

Also why not give the Nurse on the advice line a call today(Wednesday)....am sure you know you will receive some wonderful help.

Take care
Kate

Oh Heather, I am not surprised you are crying,

Thought !........... wonder if it would be worth you taking a Fresh Sample with you, for them to do a test, and do explain to them how depressed  you are and have been, and would they really do an instill with the infections? ... Maybe you could offer to let them do instills if they first clear you of the infections.

I know it is difficult, but try to get some answers from them,  make them understand your real concerns and fears.

Also you could ring the office in the morning before you go and see if they can give you some more advice.

Kate

Hi

The flu jab is entirely your choice.

I've had it for the last 18 years and IC for the last 7/8 years. I have never had any issues with the flu jab effecting my symptoms even if I've had it while in a major flare up.

Personally I would rather have the jab and a few days discomfort than having the flu. If you are worried discuss it with your urologist when you see him as ask if there are any links between IC and the flu jab. X
