Hello all,
Well after suffering for 18 years I finally have a confirmed diagnosis “follicular cystitis” it’s always been Male urologist I have seen but I finally seen a private female urologist who was so understanding and took biopsies and they have come back with F.C so now to try and see if something called ialuril will work. It feels good to finally have something to work on.

Anyone else got this and give me some hope of a successful treatment.

Xx

Hello Hugs

Am so pleased you have at last had a definite answer, and wish you well on your journey, and hope you will post your results as this will help others like you asking for info.
A while ago I posted some informtion I found, that may help until someone else pops along, with some of their own info.

This is what our own website has to say.

Follicular Cystitis is a chronic form of cystitis characterised by small mucosal nodules and the formation of lymphoid follicles in the bladder. Treatment centres around antibiotics to control infection and a corticosteriod to reduce inflammation, such as Prednisone.

and  .........the googled link...

Kind regards
Kate
