Thanks for that information and encouragement.  I'm frantically working on my website as we speak and feel confident that I will be able to post a link in a few days.  I'm really excited about my website and I can't wait to share it with you.

I wanted to revive this thread as I'm wondering if anyone has had the same experience as me.  I've been following the IC diet for a few months now and my symptoms have almost completely disappeared.

Over the last few weeks, I've been reintroducing food and beverages which would usually be a big no-no, such as coffee, chocolate, wine, tomatoes and have suffered no ill affects whatsoever.  I have two questions.

1. Is it likely that, doing the IC diet has given my bladder a chance to get better without being irritated and I am now cured?
2. Doing the IC diet has reduced my symptoms, but I would have got better anyway, even if I don't reduced the acid in my diet?

Either way, I'm glad I did it and now know what to do if I have another flare up.  I'm still being careful and don't think I'll ever go back to the unhealthy diet I had before, but it's so lovely knowing I can have a coffee, glass or wine or a chocolate treat now and then.

The last 6 months have been very difficult, as I'm sure those of you who have suffered or are still suffering will appreciate.  I absolutely owe everything to this website and all the lovely forumites who have offered support, advice and encouragement along the way.  Thanks so much.

Samantha,
its great that you are feeling so good! I am a firm believer that following the diet along with drinking plenty of water allows our bladder the chance to heal itself. However, I wouldnt not (even if were feeling perfect) go back to having the serious no no`s such as caffiene, tomatoes, chocolate, processed stuff etc etc as its not worth the pain of a relapse and having to start the healing process from step one again. I`d stick to the Usually OK stuff, and quite selfishly, I dont want you to stop adding to the website!
Thanks,
Tig

p.s. I sent you a couple of recipes through the site, did you get them? I have a few more if you were going to carry on.

Oh thanks Tig.  I just had a look and will definitely be trying your recipes and adding them to the website.  I've been a bit lazy with the site recently, but I will be updating with new dishes as and when I try them.  Thanks.

I tried the link to Samantha's website in another thread and it didn't work - anyone know if the website is no longer available, or if its address has changed?  Or if anyone could recommend any other IC recipe websites relevant to the UK, that would be brilliant!  Thanks for any suggestions!
