Did anybody here try hyperbaric oxygen for IC. Saw some studies saying it is good but would be interested if anyone tried it. Really need relief from this horrible dis ease.

I've seen posts on other webpages about this where it has been successful in terms of bladder pain but unfortunately triggered systemic candida issues which meant that patients had to stop. I would suggest doing a good google search amongst IC webpages for stories.

I've had it.  The first time I did 10 sessions, hydrodistention and another 10 sessions.  I was basically symptom free for about 9-10 months (hydrodistention usually lasts 4-6 months for me).  I've since done another 10 sessions and it really helped me  againfor several months, specially with pain but not so much with frequency.

It works best for those with Hunner's IC (according to studies done in Japan and various European countries).  Most non-Hunner's people were non-responders.
