Hello friends

I read today a piece claiming to be quoting a Dr Wright (who I believe was one of the first people prescribing d mannose for UTI's), who suggested an alternative to d mannose for those for whom it doesn't work. This was potassium iodide - described as taken by drops in water.

Has anyone experience of this for a UTI?

I haven't come across potassium idodide before. If you try it do let us know how you get on. It looks as if it will have more of a broad spectrum effect than the D-Mannose which is only really helpful for E-Coli infection.

Indeed I will, I have ordered some and need to wait for it to arrive in the post.
Looks like something that you'd have to be careful with, dose wise.

Hello, I to have read it's good, but how long do you take it for??? Is it taken to prevent? Also, what else is good with it.
I've ordered some, and the bear bury, so anyone any ideas?
