Hello i have not been on the forum for a while but am still suffering a lot, i get do upset with mainly the pain vulval and rectum if not that it is stinging and burning especially after a wee , oh how i long for a satisfying wee i am sure most of you understand what i mean.i am getting out a bit more now but very anxcious and uptight.Tried Elmiron for the last two days and the burning feels do much worse today it is do hard to know if the Elmiron is not suiting me as i have no bladder pain, i sometimes wonder if this id bladder related ir something else.I also chronically constipated thought i had cracked it with stool softeners twice a day but they do not work anymore lots if fibre doesn't help just makes me very bloated and horrible.Sorry for such a long post, it will be a year next month since that awful cystoscopy and have been upset and uptight miserable and in different pain or discomfort every single day dread going to wee because of how i will feel afterwards, thanks for listening i guess we are all suffering in different ways.Heather.

Hi Heather, I do indeed know what you mean. I would love one day when I "enjoy" having a wee. Something which used to be so simple has become a nightmare. I call it the "sting in the tail."

The anxiety over frequent urination is something you cannot explain unless you have suffered yourself. Please do go out and carry on with your life.

I joined this site back in April after developing frequency and a uncomfortable feeling in my urethra at the end of February/ beginning of March following a UTI. It is now June and I am still suffering with exactly the same symptoms and struggle to understand how it has gone on this long. We just have to keep hoping that tomorrow is a better day.

Best wishes.

Thank you so much for your reply just to know others are suffering similar symptons as myself does help, no one understands the anxiety this condition courses when the symptons are relentless day after day.Best wishes Heather.
