Hi all
I am seeing the Prof but am thinking about acupuncture to get me through the flares. Can anyone recommend an acupuncturist in London? I know there's TT but she doesn't practice in Harley St anymore and Maidenhead is impossible for me with work.
Many thanks

If you contact the BHUK on Monday they have details of an excellent accupuncturist who has IC herself and is in remission from her symptoms through a combination of acupuncture and dietary/stress management. Whilst not London based she is half an hour by train outside of London. 3/4 of her patient load are people with bladder issues and she is having a lot of success. She is also a trained naturopath and is utterly lovely. She has a number of Prof patients on her books.

She wrote a piece in the BHUK magazine last summer so the office can send you a copy of that if you would like to read it.

The accupuncturist is based in Essex - its a 30 minute train journey out of Liverpool Street followed by a 10 minute walk to her house. Alternatively she has onsite parking at her house.

That's a shame , Essex is too far for me to travel .

I can't find an alternative therapist in my area .
Anyone know of a good therapist for IC in Leicestershire ?

Thanks

There’s a lovely lady who specialises in IC in south London.** She worked with TT when she was training, she had IC herself in the past and she fundamentally works to the same sort of method as Dr Brizman in the US. I saw her for a long time and I got about 80% better through diet, supplements and acupuncture (unfortunately I’m starting again from scratch because I fell off the wagon). Hope this helps!

**Edit name by Mod,
Please Message or e. mail each other for details Thank you.

Thanks so much. I screenshotted your original post so have got her name. It will be easier for me to travel there than Essex. Many thanks.
