Hi Laura,
Like this dis- ease of ours.
Vitamin supplements can and will vary from manufacurer.
I personally have found:-
http://www.naturesbest.co.uk/about-natures-best-aabout/
They have always been reliable and are UK checked. They also have a dedicated Nutritional Advice Line, and a money back guarantee( I recall my daughter not getting on with a particular item, and there was no quibble).
I take their Multi Max for over 50's.

Sometimes it is worth asking them when is the best time of day to take them, as again personally(not their advice) I find taking acidopholous better for me towards then end of the day when I am not eating anything further.
We all have our different preferences.
So do post back with your journey.
Regards
Kate

Hi Kate
Thanks for the advice and link. It's been a long hard journey to get to this point.
I do feel like I can see the summit now.

Hi Laura,

I've had problems with my bladder reacting to multivitamins, I think because of the vitamin C content which is acidic.  So, I take separate supplements including vitamin D, buffered (non-acidic) vitamin C, magnesium and calcium.  I find Solgar is a good brand, with the absolute minimum of extra ingredients, and no soya (which I also have to avoid).

Furthermore, stress is also one risk factor which needs serious supplementation that multivitamins can provide. Especially with people who have so much to do and have a hard time in keeping up with their health needs, multivitamins are a must to keep them always on the go without any health complications in the long run.
