Both seem to be antibacterial.
Which one do you recommend?
Do we take them in short time like normal antibiotics?
Do we need probiotic with them? It is OK to take them with D manose, isn't it?

After extensive research and a lot of reading yesterday, I have decided to go for Oil of Oregano.

Could someone please recommend me which one is good from your experience??

The capsuls in the COB shop, has anyone tried?  Some says it is not full strength.

How are you getting along with the oil of oregano? What strength did you get? I thought I'd try them too and it's bit confusing to know which to get as they differ in strength.

Hi I bought "higher nature oregano oil" which was capsule.  one capsule three times a day.

I took that in order to fight/prevent infection. Some say OOO is superior to antibiotics and without side effect.

Took for 20days and had a rest.  Did it work? I am not sure. But when I had a rest after 20days, I had infection like symptom developed so started OOO again. Then this symptom went. It might be coincidence. It might not.

Also what I took might not be strong enough to fight infection.  I am not sure.

Sorry I cannot help much more.  Post and let us know if OOO worked for you or not.

Thanks for replying. I'll order some of those. Are you taking the capsules before or with or after food?

Hello Both

Just noticed your posts of Oil of Wild Oregano. This particular supplement has a broad spectrum antibiotic effect and is more powerful overall that Grapefruit Seed Extract. Brands with a high amount of the active ingrediant Carvacrol are recommended as it is the Carvacrol that is the antibacterial. Oil of O is a powerful supplement and some members find it hard to take as an oil as it burns the throat. If you want to avoid this it is better to take it as a softgel. Probiotics are a good idea with this supplement as it can blitz the good bacteria.

Hi, yes I am still taking OOO. When things were bad I took the recommended amount but now as it calmed down, I am taking half of the recommended dose.  It is difficult to know if it worked or not.  I took D mannose at the same time. My urethra symptoms might have got better without OOO and Dm as it did before but when things are but I feel I need to do something about it - taking something.  Oh I did and still now take probiotics too.

Let us know if OOO worked with you or not.

Susannah, thank you for your advice a month ago.

Best wishes.

Oh one more thing.  I have stopped taking preventative low dosage of antibiotics which my urologist told me to take.  I hope the OOO and Dm I am taking are doing the similar job instead.
