I''be been getting UTIs every few weeks (still waiting for my local hospital urology appointment- 4 months and counting) so have been taking Oregano Oil Capsules 50mg three times a day. Was wondering if the strength I'm taking is strong enough. The brand I take is higher nature.

Hi SJ2271

I am no expert but here a a couple of links may help, looks like strength is correct that ou are taking, but if you are getting several utis and you know the baceria, you could try D Mannose as well as oregano.

Thanks. How far apart should you take them if you are taking antibiotics?

Always take at least 2-3 hours away from ab with the exception of OOO which can be taken at the same time. Very little D Mannose is absorbed into the body and is excreted through the kidneys and bladder. Obviously make sure you are taking a good probiotic as well as naturals are strong and like abs can wipe out the good gut bacteria as well as the bad.
