** Prof holiday date **

His office has confirmed this morning that Prof will be away on holiday for one week starting 26th June. As per the Easter holidays, his private practice will be closed completely but for NHS patients the clinic will continue as normal.

Prof won't be checking email during his holiday and as before has said that for immediate urgent support, you must contact your GP or A&E in his absence. NHS patients can contact the clinic but there may be a delay in response as the team may need to consult with Prof on his return before they can advise if the clinical situation is serious.

If you know you are going to be running out of meds whilst Prof is away, its probably best to send your repeat request now to avoid last minute panics. NHS patients can request repeats as normal during the holiday week. His secretary has said that she can liaise with the NHS team for private patients and get repeat scripts issued but they cannot advise of flare up on symptoms.
