We have had an enquiry from a journalist who is composing a sensitively written article to appear in Brides magazine, a beautiful glossy wedding magazine (and sister publication to Vogue and Glamour). She would like to interview an interstitial cystitis sufferer or sufferer of bacterial cystitis who was prevented from being able to enjoy 'honeymoon sex' after their wedding. It's for a feature on life as a newlywed and how facing adversity together as a couple can end up making you stronger. One of the scenarios she is looking for is a couple who were unable to have sex for a while after the wedding due to a medical condition such as cystitis. The focus of the piece would be on how your love for each other was so strong, you were able to get through it.

If you can help with this, please can you contact me in the COB Office or e-mail me on susannah@cobfoundation.org. If you can help, please get in touch! Remember that publicty about this disease raises awarenes of its existence and makes people understand that it is not something trivial!
