Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone makes Saurkraut for the probiotics that it produces which are apparently the closest probiotics to those in the human gut and which can be the most helpful for colonization.

Some IC diets absolutely ban any kind of Saurkraut or fermented foods but other postings I have seen said it can really help the gut.

Saurkraut is well known and used widely in Eastern Europe and in many other countries (like Kefir etc).

If anyone does make this (I have never made it and understand that it is really difficult to make) - what make of pots do you use and what ingredients.

Any thoughts on this topic would be much appreciated. Thanks
