Has anyone on the forum tried these capsules yet?  I have been taking them for painful bladder for about 50 days now and I do feel a little bit better.  Last night I did not wake during night for wee - this may just be a one-off though.  It does not at least seem to be doing any harm

I'm aware of one member taking them who feels they help. It's the hops in the tablets which apparently is an anti inflammatory. She also finds that drinking alcohol free lager calms things as well due to the hops.

The pharmaceutical web site, has an informative breakdown of Urostemol contents .

Therapeutic Pumpkin     to regulate, frequency/urgency
Fragrant sumac            to assist an overactive/weak bladder
Hops                          for antispasmodic properties

it also has a link within for additional exercises/pelvic floor etc that may help

As with any herbal always advisable to get medical advice especially if wanting to take long term.

Personally I am able to accommodate ground pumpkin seeds daily, on porridge and add to soups etc.

I've just started taking these, for the past couple of days.  Felt very sleepy this morning.

Still not sure whether or not they are worth the money. Totally confused about what to do at present.

Not sure they helped me.  Having trouble with my medication because one doctor said I shouldn't be on hydroxyzine and amitriptilyne and changed me to gabapentin and hydroxyzine.  Now another doctor is saying those are incompatible!

Hi there

When I first realised that I had OAB, I tried Urestomol for women and found them to be ineffective and costly. They gave me no relief and were expensive to boot.

I've stopped taking Urostemol because not sure they helped me.  Also they are very expensive.  About to try D-Mannose powder as suggested by one of the Facebook sites.  Also about to try Aloe Vera capsules because they don't contain citric acid.  It's all trial and error.
