Hi everyone,
I get alot of bladder infections. The last infection has cleared some time ago but now I pee out white debris of somesort. They look like the pulp in orange juice and there is alot. Some are browny red.Sometimes the pieces that are bigger resemble very small poached eggs with the edges clear.Other times my pee is milky. When it gets like this my kidney area aches.Ive had ultrasound and urine samples, blood work, and they show nothing. What is this? Also anyone else suffer from low back and pelvic pain, when they dont have an infection? Is this normal? This may sound silly but how much pee is normal to pee?It seems like I dont pee very much anymore, but I pee often. Please help.Jenny

Hi Jenny,

The white debris in the urine could be squamous epithelial , which is dead skin coming from the bladder. Your GP can tell you if you have many squamous epithelial cells in any urine lab culture result. I always have many of these cells show up in my urine it indicates the state of the bladder.

I do get a lot of low back pain even when I dont have an infection, I have been led to believe this is from referred pain from the bladder, ie nerves carrying the pain signals.

I usually pee about 150 mls and cannot hold any more than 220mls, my doctor tells me this is a small amount. Even when under general my bladder only fills to 500mls during a stretch , and this is considered to be a small bladder.

Thankyou for writing back.I was always wondering what was normal.Ive been keeping track lately as my urologist wonders if I might have ic.I've been like this for most of my life.(had surgeryin kindergarten to "Stretch"my bladder since they thought I peed to much. The teachers never believed me.I just lived with it thinking I just had a small bladder and they said some people just do.The only reason i went to the urologist was because I was getting bladder infections every month with my period.I was put on long term antibiotic therapy but I still have alot of pain in my kidneys.Thats interesting about the pain sending signals.Could it also send pain to your vaginal area (sharp shooting pain and a pressure/pain feeling?A few years ago i had this when I was going to university(long commute 1 hour)I never told the doctor because when I had pain in my urethal area(outside )he gave me a cream and said I needed to wash better.I do.So I started obsessing over this as the pain spread and I couldnt sit for long.I thought the worst. And then it went away after that year.To pacify myself i said it must be my back from sitting so much cutting off the circulation. The pain was bad though and it hurt when I peed.I still havent told my urologist.I dnt want to sound like I have a million things wrong with me.Ive made an appt to go again.Yikes this is long.Thankyou for listening.I read your profile and it says your a christian.I will pray for you.Thank-you for all you do for this site.jenny:lol

referred pain can be quite common for lots of different areas within the body. From what you have explained did you have pain in the vulva area ? You might find this interesting http://www.vul-pain.dircon.co.uk/

If you can you should explain all your symptoms to your Urologist , this way he will be able to form a link perhaps and investigate fully any problems.

Thankyou for your prayers.

I think this could be candida yeast! The white stuff coming on your urine is common of systemic candida, which also can attack the liver and kidneys.

You might find some information here:

Good luck!

Thank you so much for sharing, Dawn.  I've had what looks like pieces of toilet paper in my urine now for about three months and was starting to feel like a nut case cause no one seems to think it's important.  I've been to the doctor and I did have an infection at first, but that's cleared up and now the pieces are getting larger and more frequent.  I always have "sludge" these days, but the pieces are also getting larger.  Today, I took in a specimen for cytology that was about an inch wide and 3/4 of an inch long.  The nurse said "HOW many cytologies have you submitted?" and I told her this is the three and got that look (you know the look where they don't quite think you're sane?  Anyway, way, I'm writing to say thanks cause I was getting discouraged, feeling like they are going to pay attention, and like maybe they shouldn't cause I'm just weird.  Then I read your post and felt so much better!  I'm not alone!  Thanks so much!
