Hi all! I havent posted on this site for a while, however have been keeping an eye on the message boards. Iv actually been doing really well bladder wise. I moved to Australia 3 years ago and have found reducing stress (where possible) and pretty much stopping alcohol has really helped! However I may have hit another hurdle-altho no diagnosis as yet. I have been suffering bad back pain for a month now and the doctor is testing me for ankylosing spondylitis. I have been doing some reading about this condition and im wondering if there are links to ic. From what I have read it is an inflammatory condition and there are links to auto immune problems-this set my radar going due to similarities with ic. Has anyone else got this?

I know its been a while since you posted about the AS, but just wanted to know how you were getting on.  If you are diagnosed with this and want some-one to speak to about it, my Hubby has it - was diagnosed about 14 years ago and has also had the uvitis (eyes) and chest infections from it starting in his ribs, so far no problems with his heart though.

Take care,
